POLICIES
Welcome to The Motun Collective (TMC)! I’m so glad to be your photographer and to serve your moment-capturing needs. Before booking, please ensure you have thoroughly read and understood the following policies. When booking, you will be asked to acknowledge these terms to secure your session. Failure to acknowledge will result in non-provision of services. Thank you!
I. BOOKING YOUR SESSION
To begin the booking process, please complete the inquiry form located here, providing as much detail as possible in the description box. An email address is required; however, if you prefer to be contacted via text or phone call, feel free to include your phone number when completing the form.
Unfortunately, studio sessions are unavailable at this time– current services include location portraits and events.
Ideally, inquiry forms should be submitted at least 10 days before the anticipated session date. For example, if you wish to book a session for 01/31, the inquiry should be submitted by 01/21. Inquiries submitted within the 10-day window are welcome, though availability may be limited. Please allow up to 24 hours for a response once your inquiry is submitted.
II. PAYMENTS
Once the terms of your inquiry have been accepted, you will be asked to make the official booking, which requires a 30% deposit fee that goes toward your total bill. This deposit is refundable up to 72 hours before your scheduled session.
The remaining balance is due immediately following the session. Accepted payment methods include Zelle, CashApp, Apple Pay, cash, and payment through the TMC website (coming soon). Please note that no photos will be disbursed if an outstanding balance remains.
III. LATENESS & EXTENDED SESSIONS
A 10-minute grace period is provided at the start of all sessions. After this time, late fees of up to $35 may apply, and the session may be canceled.
If a session exceeds the originally booked time, clients will be charged according to the standard booking rates. This is separate from late fees and may occur intentionally by requesting an extended session. For example, if a 30-minute portrait session extends to 45 minutes, the client will be charged $75 for the additional 15 minutes, per portrait pricing.
Please note that grace periods and extended sessions are dependent on my schedule and may not be available if another session is scheduled immediately after yours.
If, for any reason, I am late to a session, additional edited photos will be provided at no extra cost.
IV. RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS
Life happens—I understand! When possible, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your session.
If I must reschedule or cancel a session, you will be notified as soon as possible and offered alternative available dates. If rescheduling is not feasible, your deposit will be refunded, and I will do my best to refer you to other (amazing) local photographers.
V. PHOTO DELIVERABLES & APPROPRIATE USE
Sessions include 6+ edited photos, depending on your selected package. Additional edited images are available for $10 per image.
Average turnaround times for edited photos are:
3-5 days for portrait sessions
Up to 14 days for events
Turnaround time may vary based on your package selection and the number of edited images included— more images will likely result in a longer turnaround time, and vice versa. Rush delivery may be requested for an additional fee, pending availability.
Clients will receive access to watermarked, unedited images. However, please refrain from sharing or posting these images publicly, as they do not reflect the final work quality.
This is not mandatory, but tagging my socials (@themotuncollective) when sharing final images is always greatly appreciated!
